AMAZING GRACE

AMAZING GRACE Amazing grace, how sweet the sounds that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost but now I'm found, was blind, but now I see. 't was grace that taught my heart to fear and grace my fears relieved; how precious did that grace appear the hour I first believed! Through many dangers, toils and snares I have already come; 't is grace that brought me safe thus far, and grace will lead me home. Must Jesus bear the cross alone and all the world go free? No, there's a cross for everyone, and there's a cross for me. How sweet the name of Jesus sounds in a believer's ear. It soothes his sorrows, heals the wounds, and drives away his fears. The Lord has promised good to me, His word my hope secures; He will my shield and portion be as long as life endures.

UNGLAUBLICHE GNADE Unglaubliche Gnade, wie süss sind die Klänge Die ein armes Wesen wie ich es bin retten. Einst war ich verloren, aber nun bin ich gefunden worden Ich war blind und nun sehe ich. Es war Gnade, die mein Herz gelehrt hat zu fürchten, und Gnade, die es von der Furcht erlösten wie kostbar erschien diese Gnade in der Stunde , als ich zum Glauben fand. Durch viele Gefahren, Mühen und Fallstricke Bin ich schon gekommen. Gnade hat mich sicher bis hierher gebracht Und Gnade wird mich heim führen. Muss Jesus das Kreuz allein tragen, und alle Welt davor verschont bleiben? Nein, es gibt ein Kreuz für alle, uns es gibt auch ein Kreuz für mich. Wie süss tönt der Name Jesus Im Ohr von denen, die glauben. Er lindert ihren Kummer, heilt ihre Wunden Und vertreibt ihre Angst. Der Herr hat mir Gutes versprochen Sein Wort bestätigt meine Hoffnungen Er wird mein Schild und mein Anteil sein, so lange das Leben dauert.
